MOVING!
We are about to embark on, what I HOPE, will be our last move for awhile! If you don't know, we move...we move ALOT! Shall I list them for fun! OK...here I go. I'll just count the number of times we have moved in less that 3 years (basically two weeks after Sarah, our 1st child, was born.) We had bought our first house in Picayune, MS then we went to Fort Walton, Fl -->Albany, Ga --> Tuscaloosa, AL (where we had Noah and when he was less than two weeks old, Mike went to Kuwait, we also moved twice while we were in AL) --> then we went to Ridgecrest, CA--> back to Tuscaloosa, AL (where I thought for sure we would be FOREVER) but no...--> then to Charleston, SC and then, SOMEHOW we came back to where we started --> Pearl River, LA (right next to Picayune, Ms) Did you get all that? hehe!
Yes thats 8 times we have moved in LESS than 3 years....I don't know about you...but its been just about enough to drive me bananas! just FYI thats not including the 4 times we moved before we had kids....and we have been married only 5 years.... 12 moves in 5 years...see what I mean...at times I know Im going crazy!! (oh and we had two babies in between all this...who are 10 months apart....yeah..thats another blog) :)
Well now that I have vented about all my moving (I do tend to talk alot about it...because I'M SOOO OVER IT) But like any trial or challenge in life, there have been HUGE blessings along the way. There is no doubt that over the past few years, I admit I have not been as close with the Lord as I would like. I've been stressed, stressed and stressed! I tend to forget all the blessings...focus to much on how stressed I am. Of course the two most important blessings to me are Sarah and Noah! I could not have made it thru all this without them! Blessings have come in all forms the past few years...people we met, places we have seen, Mike's job/ clearance levels, familly, just the smallest of things.
As we embark on this next move I just want to pray for guidance, peace and happiness with my little family! I have peace about it, getting "settled" I guess you would call it. I have so many important things to be doing in this life, other than moving...I mean have you seen my pinterst board! hehe!!!
I do pray that we find a church soon! That has been a HUGE missing link in my life. We try churches when we move, but have yet to stay anywhere long enough to get involved! And I do love being involved in a church! Say a pray for us!
MOVING DAY: JULY 28th!
